Discussing the Medici family and their patronage of the arts, the figure of Giorgio Vasari, the origins of the gallery, and the genesis of the grotesque technique, as well as the architectural structure of the museum, the layout of the exhibits, and methods of appreciating the artworks.
Venturing into the medieval period, we step into an exhibition room housing Giotto’s works, embarking from the “Image Revolution” to encountering Sustermans, the artist who painted Galileo’s portrait, among the masterpieces of the Renaissance displayed across over eighty exhibition rooms.

- The minimum number of guests is 2. If 2 days before the tour we don’t meet the minimum number of participants, the tour may be cancelled.

- Teens under 18 years old only need to pay €4 reservation fee when booking the ticket. Remember to bring the passport.
- Please let us know in advance if you would like a Firenze Card or a combined ticket (passpartout). This will ensure that you do not double-buy tickets
If you cancel your tour booking after you have agreed to let us book your tickets, we will refund you the cost of your tour minus the cost of the tickets. The nature of the tour requires you to book tickets immediately upon booking.
